Nursing Admission 2023-24
Here is the Nursing admission circular 2024 for the academic year 2023-24. The admission process starts with the publication of the Nursing Admission Circular on the official website. Update: Nursing Admission Test change to May 4, 2024 from May 3, 2024.
For the 2023-24 academic year, the application form fill update started from March 12, 2024, and continued until April 02, 2024. The admission test will be held on May 4, 2024, and admit card download will start from April 25, 2024.

Nursing Admit Card Download
After you have successfully submitted your application and the payment has been confirmed, your next step is to download your admit card. This card is your entry ticket to the nursing admission test 2023-2024.

- Log in using your user ID and password in the Admit Card section.
- Download and print the PDF of the Admit Card.
Once you find your admit card, download it and print out a color copy. Check the details on the admit card carefully—your name, photograph, exam date, time, and venue should all be correct. Remember, without your admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Eligibility for Nursing Admission
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirement for nursing admission can apply. For the B.Sc in Nursing program, you will generally need to have completed your Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examinations
Here are key points to check for your eligibility:
- Citizenship: You must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
- Educational Background: You must have passed your HSC or equivalent exam in 2021, 2022, or 2023. For your SSC or equivalent, the exam year must be 2019, 2020, or 2021.
- Minimum GPA:
For a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc in Nursing), you need to have completed your SSC and HSC levels in the science group. You should have a minimum total GPA of 7.00 for both SSC and HSC levels. Additionally, you need a separate minimum total GPA of 3.00, and a minimum GPA of 3.00 in Biology at both SSC and HSC levels.
For the 3-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery or Diploma in Midwifery, you can apply with an SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent pass from any group. In both exams, the minimum total GPA should be 6.00, and the minimum GPA for each should be at least 2.50.

Firstly, you’ll need to check the Nursing Admission Form for the year 2024. This form is available online through the official nursing admission portal (bnmc.teletalk.com.bd). Here’s how to get started:
- Visit the official website bnmc.teletalk.com.bd.
- Fill out the application form with the necessary details.
- Upload a photo (300 x 300 pixels) and your signature (300 x 60 pixels) during the application.
- Provide your present and permanent addresses in English, including district, police station / Upazila, and postal code.
- If you have a quota, specify it during the application.
- Review your application thoroughly before submission.
- Submit the application form.
- Download the applicant’s copy and make the application fee payment.
Paying the Application Fee
Once your form is filled out, the next step is to pay the application fee. This fee is non-refundable and is an essential part of the application process. Follow the payment instructions provided in the admission circular. This may involve bank payments, mobile banking, or online payment gateways. The application fee is Tk.700 for the BSc in Nursing course and Tk. 500 for the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery / Diploma in Midwifery course.

Nursing Admission Test
The nursing admission test consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that cover a range of subjects relevant to nursing and healthcare. These subjects may include: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, General Knowledge. To prepare yourself, you can practice previous years’ admission test papers
Admission Mark Distribution:
The admission test format is designed to evaluate the candidate’s aptitude in various subjects pertinent to the nursing field. The admission test held for one hour and the full score is 100 marks. To pass, candidates must achieve a minimum of 40 marks. Here’s a breakdown of how the marks are distributed for different nursing courses:
For B.Sc in Nursing:
- Bangla: 20 marks
- English: 20 marks
- Mathematics: 10 marks
- Science: 30 marks (covering Biology, Physics, and Chemistry)
- General Knowledge: 20 marks
For Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery:
- Bangla: 20 marks
- English: 20 marks
- Mathematics: 10 marks
- General Science: 25 marks
- General Knowledge: 25 marks
How the Nursing Merit List Is Prepared
The Nursing merit list prepared based on admission test mark and your SSC and HSC Mark. The total marks that a student can get are 150, which includes:
- 100 marks: From the admission test.
- 50 marks: Based on the GPA from SSC and HSC grades.
Here’s how the GPA from the SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) contributes to the overall score:
- SSC GPA: Multiplied by 4, contributing up to 20 marks.
- HSC GPA: Multiplied by 6, contributing up to 30 marks
