JU Admission Process And Result Making Process
For the second-time candidates, it’s good news indeed that they are eligible for admission to the Jahangirnagar University. The candidates will need to meet some other criteria to be eligible. And they should have a clear and concise idea about how the final merit list will be made. So, let’s take a look at that.
- Candidates passing their HSC exam in 2022 or 2023 will be eligible for admission. But no candidates passing their SSC exam before 2020 will be eligible.
- For all the units, the total mark will be 100. The admission test will carry 80 marks where candidates will be given 80 questions and the value of each question will be 1.
- 0.2 marks will be deducted from the obtained marks for every wrong answer.
- The candidates will get 55 mins for answering all 80 questions.
- Rest 20 marks will be based on the total GPA in the SSC and HSC exams. The GPA of the HSC exam will be multiplied by 2.5 and the GPA of the SSC exam will be multiplied by 1.5.
- The final merit list will be prepared by combining the test score and the GPA score.
