To accommodate a large number of candidates for admission, the authority has decided to let a limited number of candidates take the admission test. For this, a total of 135,000 candidates will be eligible for the admission test in 3 units.

Once the preliminary application is over, the authority will select 45,000 candidates in each unit depending on the result of SSC and HSC. Only the selected candidates can then proceed to the final application process.

The admission test will be held in 9 shifts for 3 units. 15,000 candidates will take part in each shift. As the preliminary application process isn’t complete yet, the eligible list will be published after the application ends.

When RU Eligible Candidates List Will Be Published?

As you might already know, the preliminary application has started on 7 March 2021 and will continue till 18 March 2021. After scrutinizing the application and the result of the candidates, the authority will prepare an eligible list for admission to Rajshahi University.

They will then publish the eligible list on 22 March 2021. Selected candidates in the eligible list will need to finalize application from 23 March 2021 to 31 March 2021. The admission test will be held from 14 June 2021 to 16 June 2021 in 3 shifts.

The first shift will be from 9.00 am to 10.30 am. The Second shift will be from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm. The third shift will be from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm.

How Many Candidates Will Get Chance For Final Application?

As stated above, not all the candidates who have applied for admission to Rajshahi University will get the chance to take the admission test. After the preliminary application ends on 18 March 2021, the authority will select a certain number of candidates for the final application. Only the selected candidates will be able to go to the next step.

Candidates can take the admission test in 3 units. They are Science, Business Studies, and Humanities. For each unit, 45,000 candidates will be selected. In total, the number of selected candidates will be 135,000 for all three units.The authority has decided the number of eligible candidates depending on their capability of housing for the admission test.

How The RU Valid Candidates List Will Be Prepared?

The eligible list for the Rajshahi University admission will be prepared based on certain criteria. Among them, the first condition to fulfill is to pass the HSC in 2020. Only the candidates who have passed the HSC in 2020 will get the chance in the eligible list. Candidates passing the HSC in previous years will be disqualified instantly.

After selecting the candidates based on the passing year, the authority will look for the SSC and the HSC result. As you already know from the circular, there is a minimum GPA requirement for every unit. But this isn’t the guarantee to be on the eligible list.

Among the candidates who have applied, candidates having the maximum GPA in SSC and HSC will get selected. The first 45,000 candidates having the maximum result in total will be on the eligible list. After preparing the eligible list, the authority will publish it on 22 March 2021.
